CereX Malt 10 80 Brix extract is a concentrated extract from malted barley and is gluten free. This product is a golden-brown syrup and has a very rich and characteristic syrup; aftertaste is absolutely mild, and the odour is full of classic malted barley notes. The 80°Brix extracts are high in viscosity, and require handling, dosing, at temperatures of 40-50 degrees Celsius. This extract passes through our brewery and filling operation is without oxygen. This means minimal/little oxidation, making a malt drink on the market much more stable and cleaner in tase.
Food applications, confectionary and other foods. It is also used in beer-fermentation where the yeast can use the maltsugars for delivering (extra) alcohol).
